Henry Aaron of the Eau Claire Bears
This painting captures a moment in the early baseball career of Henry Aaron. Using many different images and experimenting with a variety of colors I was able to create this image of Henry Aaron in 1952 at Carson Park, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. On May 31, 2014 this painting was donated to the city of Eau Claire and is hanging at Carson Park. |
Burleigh Grimes
This painting was done of a young Burleigh Grimes in his Eau Claire Commissioners uniform in 1912. Burleigh played for one year with the Eau Claire team.
New Richmond Blood.
With this painting I wanted to create an image of a New Richmond High football player during the 20's which ironically captures the likeness of Hall of Famer Johnny "Blood" McNally. McNally grew up and graduated from New Richmond, Wisconsin but never played sports until college making this a fantasy piece. This painting is currently on display at the New Richmond Library.
This painting of Bob Feller was painted on commission for a client. The painting depicts a young Rapid Robert in his classic follow through stance.
